Microsoft InfoPath Glossary Definition

Microsoft InfoPath is a discontinued Microsoft form-design and data-collection application.

It is retained because it remains useful in legacy systems, migration work, historical documentation, or compatibility discussions.

It remains important in SharePoint, enterprise forms, workflow, XML forms, and migration projects where InfoPath solutions must be replaced. Former or related names include InfoPath.
