Title Block Glossary Definition

Term Title Block
Definition

Title block is a writing, research, or communication concept related to the identifying information found on the title page of an APA style paper. Title blocks are center-justified, and include, in descending order, the title of the paper, the name of its author, and the organization the paper is being written for (for papers written in college, this organization is almost always the name of the school).

Context & Usage

In professional and technical communication, title block helps writers plan, draft, revise, review, or present information in a way that fits the audience and purpose.
