SCORM Glossary Definition

SCORM, the Sharable Content Object Reference Model, is a family of standards and specifications for packaging, launching, communicating with, and tracking eLearning content in an LMS.

SCORM remains common in compliance and enterprise learning, but teams should understand its tracking limits compared with newer approaches such as xAPI.
