Google Cloud Platform (GCP) represents Google Cloud's infrastructure and platform services for compute, storage, networking, databases, data analytics, AI, security, and application hosting. The current official brand is Google Cloud, while GCP remains a common recruiter-facing phrase for Google's cloud platform capabilities.

GCP belongs under Cloud Computing & Virtualization because it demonstrates cloud infrastructure, cloud services, and platform knowledge rather than use of a cloud-hosted productivity application.
