HCL Notes, historically Lotus Notes and IBM Notes, is an enterprise collaboration platform and client for mail, calendars, discussion databases, document libraries, and custom business applications.
It is retained as legacy KM/collaboration experience because Notes databases were widely used to store, organize, and share departmental knowledge and workflow content in enterprise environments.
